Deeside Way

Walk, run, cycle and ride from the Oil Capital of Europe to the Cairngorms National Park

The Deeside Way is a long-distance multi-user path in which runs along the River Dee from Aberdeen to Ballater.  Part of the National Cycle Network (Route 195) the Deeside Way follows a large part of the old railway line passing through Banchory, Kincardine O’Neil and Aboyne before reaching Ballater.

Kincardine Estate facilitated 4.25km of the route which passes through Kincardine O’Neil etc etc.
